Summary
Our country China began to explore the development of concrete pumps in the 1970s and introduced technology to manufacture concrete pumps in the 1980s, but the real domestic concrete pump manufacturing began. After more than 20 years of development, China has become the world's largest producer of concrete pumps. In 2007, about 3,000 pump trucks were sold, and about 6,500 trailer pumps were sold. In the same period, the total output of foreign concrete pumps was only about 12,000 units.

Although Chinese concrete pumps have introduced Japanese technology for the first time, the truly successful products have been independently developed based on European technology. China's concrete pumps have gone to the world. The "unfair" treatment of other Chinese export products internationally due to intellectual property issues should arouse the attention of domestic manufacturers. Innovation is the source of the life of an enterprise, and there is much to be done in the technological innovation of concrete pumps. In addition, we should see that after more than ten years of rapid development of China's concrete machinery, the future prospects are still very optimistic, which also provides a broad stage for the further development of our concrete pump technology. In the future, the main direction of the development of concrete pumps is: to improve the performance and operating efficiency of the main engine, reduce the cost of use, improve comfort and meet the requirements of regulations. China's urbanization rate is less than 45%. In the next ten years, China's urbanization rate will increase by 1% per year. The urbanization rate in developed countries is about 80%. It will take at least 15 to 20 years for China to reach an urbanization rate of about 65% that is more in line with China’s national conditions.
