Incident 1. At around 17:50 on August 10, 2014, a highway tunnel under construction in Shiqian County, Guizhou Province collapsed, and 13 people under construction in the tunnel were trapped. On August 16, after nearly 140 hours of rescue work, 13 workers trapped in the tunnel collapse on August 10 in Shiqian County, Guizhou, have been successfully rescued.
Incident 2: At 16:00 on July 14, 2014, the Funing 1 tunnel on the Yun-Gui Railway under construction in Funing County, Yunnan Province collapsed, and 15 workers were trapped. At 2:58 on July 20, 14 trapped workers were successfully rescued.
Incident 3: In the early morning of April 2, 2014, a tunnel under construction on the Jitu-Hun Railway collapsed, and 12 people in the shotcreting squad were trapped. After 87 hours of life and death rescue, the trapped persons were successfully rescued.
Incident 4: On August 14, 2013, 4 people were killed and 1 person was seriously injured in the collapse of the drainage tunnel of the Gaoyi Power Station in Suichuan, Jiangxi Province. Workers were shotcreting at the time.
Accident 5: In the early morning of October 10, 2012, a highway tunnel under construction in Baise City, Guangxi Province collapsed. 6 shotcreting workers were buried. The accident caused 5 deaths and 1 injury.

1. The sprayed concrete should adopt wet spraying process to ensure the strength, thickness and uniformity. Dry spraying is strictly prohibited.
2. New mechanical equipment for tunnel construction is widely used. The construction unit should start from the improvement of the project quality assurance ability, guide and encourage the construction unit to upgrade the level of tunnel construction equipment, improve construction conditions, reduce labor intensity, and reduce human deviation. Actively adopt concrete spraying equipment and so on.
