As a downstream industry of the building materials industry, the construction industry's situation and changes are closely affecting the development of the building materials industry. The construction industry is a labor-intensive industry. Because the employees are mainly construction workers, the industry is greatly affected by the epidemic situation, and it is difficult to resume work, which directly affects the supply of upstream building materials. In order to understand the impact of the New Coronary Pneumonia epidemic on the construction industry, and to grasp the practical difficulties of the construction industry enterprises in resuming work, the China Construction Industry Association launched a questionnaire survey to the national construction industry enterprises. The survey covers 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government (Jilin Province is missing). A total of 804 companies participated in the survey, including 659 housing construction projects, accounting for 81.97%.
On April 20, the China Construction Industry Association released the "Investigation Report on the Impact of the New Coronary Pneumonia Epidemic on Construction Enterprises" (hereinafter referred to as the Investigation Report).
The epidemic has three major impacts on companies
The survey report shows that 60.95% of the companies believe that the epidemic has a great impact on the production of the enterprise, 31.84% of the companies believe that the impact of the epidemic is relatively small, and 6.97% of the companies believe that the epidemic has no impact on the company at present, but there is a potential future impact 0.25% of the companies believed that the epidemic had no impact on the company at all. In general, most of the interviewed companies believe that the outbreak will have a certain impact on their own production and operation, and will bring adverse factors for the completion of the annual performance target as scheduled.
The impact is mainly divided into three aspects: delayed construction schedule affects contract duration, on-site shutdown causes waste of capital and increased costs, raw materials, labor costs, transportation costs and other costs increase.
The company expects that the output value loss caused by each day of shutdown will be 36.32% under 100,000 yuan, 24.38% from 100,000 to 500,000 yuan, 11.69% from 500,000 to 1 million yuan, and 1 million from 1 million yuan. Those with ~ 5 million yuan accounted for 12.69%, those with 5 million to 10 million yuan accounted for 5.47%, and 9.45% of the companies lost more than 10 million yuan in output value per day.
